Three Oaks – Kitchen Remodel – Austin
TRS Build
Autin, Texas 78759
The Story
This Three Oaks home was ready for a complete transformation, one that would feel brighter, more open, and better suited to the way our client lives and works every day.
As a professional baker, the kitchen was especially important. The existing layout separated the kitchen from the dining room and limited both natural light and flow. Our goal was to create a more open, connected first impression while giving her a kitchen designed around serious baking, everyday comfort, and plenty of storage.
By opening up the main living spaces and refreshing finishes throughout the home, TRS Build created a cohesive interior that feels warm, functional, and personal to the homeowner.
The Details
The transformation began with updates throughout the entire home, including new wide-plank luxury vinyl plank flooring, fresh interior paint, and a redesigned fireplace featuring a tile surround and wood mantle.
The biggest structural change happened in the kitchen and dining area. TRS Build removed the wall and structural column that once divided the two spaces and installed a new structural beam to safely carry the load. This opened the kitchen into the dining and living areas, creating one seamless, light-filled great room.
Designed specifically for a professional baker, the new kitchen combines function with personality. A statement island finished in a rich jade tone serves as the centerpiece, topped with a granite countertop and open shelving below for convenient storage and display. Tall pantry cabinets provide additional organization, while professional-grade appliances support the homeowner’s baking needs.
A custom built-in bench nook adds a comfortable place to enjoy a morning coffee or take a break between baking sessions. With abundant natural light, thoughtful storage, and a much more open layout, the finished home now reflects both how the homeowner lives and how she creates.
