Kitchen Extension and Remodel - Georgetown
This project featured a home addition created by enclosing an existing patio, raising the patio floor to be level with the home, moving windows to the new exterior walls, and filling in walls and masonry where windows had been.
In addition - the kitchen was fully remodeled to update and modernize, extend the island to create seating for a busy family with four kids, and bring in some fun and functional new features like a pot filler and ice maker.
Home Addition Project challenge:
Matching the flooring for the addition was a challenge in that the flooring had been discontinued. We were able to find a small amount of flooring in Florida which was sooo close but the color was just a little off. Fortunately, the owner had some remaining flooring which when interspersed with the new flooring the difference was unnoticeable.
