A year before reaching out to us, these Austin homeowners watched as we built a substantial home addition with a new guest suite and covered porch on an adjoining property. Happy with the results they saw on their neighbor’s home, they reached out to talk with us about providing their home addition and interior remodel as well.

The scope of the project included a two story outdoor addition (something many homeowners are moving ahead with these days as they seek to optimize the investment in their home by making the most of their outdoor space) as well as an interior remodel including the kitchen, primary bath, kids’ bath, and stairway.

The homeowners had been working with a local architect to design the addition of a screened in porch and upper balcony, and were looking for a design-build firm to complete the work as a turnkey project. We were happy to serve them by providing floor plans and detailed designs for the interior remodel, refining the design of the exterior addition and filling in the details with renderings and material selections, and taking care of permitting and construction. 

With their experience doing DIY projects (and doing them well), successfully creating beautiful accents in the home, the homeowners recognized they needed help managing and thinking through their options for the most significant areas of the home, the kitchen and bathrooms. It was a pleasure to collaborate with them throughout design and construction, enabling them to make the most of their investment and achieve the results they were seeking in creating a welcoming and homey feel in the kitchen that aligned with the rest of their beautiful home, and major updates to the style and comfort of the primary and secondary bathrooms.
