Spring Valley - Patio - Georgetown, TX
This Georgetown couple had been wanting to update their home for quite some time, patiently looking for the right company to work with to create for them them home they dreamed of from the home they had been living in for decades. We're grateful they contacted us and chose us to work with them on nearly every space in the home (all but the kitchen - saving that for later!) as well as the front entry and the a beautiful rear porch addition!
It has been a pleasure to work with them through the design and build, taking care of everything from our collaborative design process and selecting just the right materials, getting their permit, and of course bringing it to life with the construction phase and continuing to advise on options along the way.
A major part of the project was to open and modernize the home, giving it a more spacious and bright feeling, install new flooring that would be easy to care for and clean, open the view to their beautiful back property, create a covered porch also to take advantage of spacious and peaceful outdoors, and last but not least, a major functional upgrade to the primary bath and a cosmetic upgrade to the guest bath.
For the primary bath - a complete redo from an oddly distributed narrow bath with two small side closets to a wider more expansive bathroom with walk in shower featuring their favorite blue tile @flooranddecor and a larger ceiling height walk in closet.
For the guest bath, a cosmetic remodel with the same theme as the primary bath, featuring a tall niche with glass shelves in the shower, providing extra storage snugged into the wall away from view.
On the front exterior, upgrading the home entry by leveling the concrete, adding tile. The final touch? A new custom iron gate provides a touch more privacy and security to the front entrance.
Out back, perhaps our favorite aspect of the project, replacing all old wood siding with durable hardie plank, adding a large sliding door allowing an expansive view of their beautiful property from inside the home, and over 300 square feet of covered porch. We are so glad they decided to upgrade to the cumaru hardwood ceiling for the outdoor porch, bringing a natural elegance to that space - gorgeous!
