FAQS

Here are answers to some common questions.

  • Can I get an estimate over the phone?

In order to understand your needs, we always meet with any potential new client at their home or business so that we can better understand their vision for the project, provide an initial consultation to help clarify scope, and from there we can provide an estimate for services. We encourage clients to refer to HomeAdvisor or other trusted sources for high level cost estimates for building and remodeling services.

  • How long will it take to complete a project?

The time to complete a project depends on the scope of services. When we first meet with a client we can provide a rough estimate for timeline, and make our clients aware of how long they may want or need to be out of the home. We also hold pre-construction meetings where we go through many questions to ensure our clients understand the ways construction process will impact their lives, and provide guidance to help them prepare.

  • What kind of ROI will I get by remodeling?

When remodeling a rental property or business, ROI is a driving factor - ensuring that the remodel will support leasing the space, rental rates, and tenant longevity, and for businesses ensuring the remodel will meet the business needs for client engagement, employee satisfaction, and productivity. When remodeling one’s home however, it is just as important to consider - how will the remodel improve your quality of life? And what are the options to remodeling? In today’s constrained real estate market in the Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown and surrounding areas, many clients are finding it difficult or impossible to find the home they are looking for (or can afford). Remodeling becomes not only a cost-effective option, but the best option for adding space, updating and modernizing for a more enjoyable home, making room for a new (or aging) family member, or finally customizing that kitchen or bath to have the beauty and functionality you seek.

  • How much does it cost to remodel a kitchen?

There are no typical costs for remodeling a kitchen. With all of the options today for cabinetry, fun gadgets, new appliances, removing walls and modifying floor plans to open kitchens to the rest of the home, expanding and enhancing this most favorite of rooms can take many forms. We work with our clients to understand their needs and vision for their remodel, provide itemized estimates for transparency in pricing, and continue to work with our clients to refine pricing and scope of work to meet their needs. We provide design ideas to support and enhance achieving the clients goals, and 3D renderings to help clients see what their new kitchen will look like.
