A priority for this Northwest Hills family in Austin was to lighten and brighten the home, moving from old yellows to crisp whites, grays and touches of blue, along with a few dark wood accents. A complete redo of the kitchen included opening the kitchen area to the living space, removing a small island and a peninsula for one island large enough to fit four comfortably and added side overhang for a couple more when entertaining. New flooring and painting throughout, buffet cabinets and wet bar for the dining area, and converting a portion of the garage to a walk-in-pantry. Instead of replacing the front door, we refinished, removed the out-dated grate, replaced glass, and tiled the entry concrete. For the kids -  a remodel of their bathroom focusing on replacing the tub-shower combo with a beautiful new tiled walk-in shower. A beautiful new home for a beautiful family!
